In our opinion it's just not right, how can small business owners, marketeers, e-commerce and website managers find value and the right advice to follow if that information just isn't shared?
That's why we're launching DO Digitel's 0-60k, an opportunity to test ideas, theories and approaches, sharing the best and worst bits with you so you can avoide the costly mistakes yourself.
If you don't know already, DO Digitel not only shares pratical digital marketing advice and tips, but we have also created some great digital tools to help small business owners, our product range includes our website uptime checker, landing page monitor and our Core Web Vitals tracker.
Our challenge is the same as many small businesses though, how do we get our products seen and used and what better way to share the best tips than to share the details of all the things we're trying!
We're starting out with no marketing budget and will need to rely on our existing experience to improve our traffic, product sign ups and growth.
0-60k Objective
For those that have been following DO Digitel on socials for a while will know, our objectives are two fold:
- To give smaller businesses the tools they need to compete online
- To build a business capable of funding our passion for motorsports
Unlike the influencers of LinkedIn, we're not setting unrealistic targets into the hundreds of thousands, £60k is a sensible annual target of £5,000 which for many small businesses, side hustles and marketing campaigns is both achievable and realistic.
If we wanted to turn this into a SMART objective:
- Specific - £60k is what we need to go racing
- Measurable - We can measure success against our target
- Achievable - Yes, providing we commit to the campaign
- Realistic - Yes, many people go racing with this budget
- Time bound - We'd like to get to £5,000/month in the next 12 months
